On October 25, 2025, under the auspices of His Grace Bishop Oshagan Gulgulian, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Iraq, a ceremony for the blessing of the deacons’ ecclesiastical vestments was held at the Church of St. Sarkis in Havresk. Following the ceremony, a Divine Liturgy was celebrated by Reverend Father Hagopos Isahagian, pastor of St. Mary Church in Zakho. At the end of the liturgy, His Grace Bishop Oshagan bestowed his blessing upon the faithful and later distributed school bags to the students of the community.
The event was attended by the chairman and members of the Sub-Administrative Committee of Havresk, along with the chairman of the Sub-Administrative Committee of Zakho.
