The pastor of the Chaldean Archdiocese in Zakho, bishop Filix Daoud Al-Shabi , arch priest Johnny Daoud, Father Louay Abdul-Masih and Father Stavro visited the headquarter of the Armenian Orthodox Church of St. Mary the Virgin in Zakho On August 2-2021, where they were received by Father Masis Shahinian the church pastor as well as by Mr. Daoud Mardirosian, the head of the The sub-administrative committee and it’s members, Mr. Vahik Saranian, member of the Kurdistan Region Parliament, Mr. Iskhan Sarkissian, member of the Dohuk Provincial Council and also number of the sect members were attended. The guests expressed their happiness of constructing this blessed edifice (the new Armenian church of Zakho) and they were pleasured with this auspicious visit to the Armenian Church in Zakho.
