Mr. Mushir Muhammad Bashir, the District Administrator of Zakho district, visited the Armenian Orthodox Church of St. Mary the Virgin in Zakho (under construction church) on the 14th of November 2021. He was received by Father Masis Shahinian, pastor of the Church, and the head and members of the Armenian Orthodox Sub-Committee In Zakho, Mr. Vahig Saranian, a member of the Zakho Parliament, and engineer Hakar Salam, who is supervising the project of the new church.
