The engineer Walat Saadi, the mayor of Zakho, visited the Armenian Orthodox Church of St. Mary the Virgin in Zakho on the 28th of September 2021. He was received by Father Masis Shahinian, the pastor of The church, the head and members of the sub-administrative committee of the Armenian Orthodox community in Zakho, and the engineers who are supervising the under-construction church project.
