On August 14-2022, headed by Father Atam Movsesian, a divine Liturgy was held on the occasion of the feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary into Heaven in the Armenian Orthodox Church of Saint Mary the Virgin in Zakho. Then the grapes were blessed, and at the end of the mass gifts were given to those bearing the name of Mary.
