On August 26, 2022, Mr. Firas Khalil Ibrahim, head of Zakho office of the Caritas Organization, and his accompanying delegation from the organization’s staff visited the Armenian Orthodox Church in Zakho, to congratulate Father Atam Movsesian on his nomination as the pastor of the St. Virgin Mary church. Mr. Daoud Mardirosian, Chairman of the Armenian diocesan sub-council in Zakho, and the other members of the sub-council welcomed him, and visited the new under-construction Armenian church.
