On January 29^th, 2023, Archimandrite Oshagan Gulgulian, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Iraq, presided over a Divine Liturgy at the Church of St. Virgin Mary in Zakho. The service was celebrated by Father Artun Khalatian, Pastor of the Holy Cross Church of Erbil (Surp Khach Church).

After the liturgy, the Archimandrite met with the parishioners and guests from Zakho, following which he visited the Armenian cemetery and prayed for the souls of the departed.
