On March 23, 2024, under the auspices of His Eminence Bishop Oshagan Gulgulian, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Iraq, a prayer was held in the newly built St. Mary the Virgin Orthodox Church in Zakho. Following the prayer, the consecration of the church bell took place.
