On May 12, 2024, following the Divine Liturgy, the ceremony of consecrating the doors of the new Armenian Church in Zakho with holy chrism was held by the Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Iraq, His Eminence Bishop Oshagan Gulgulian. The ceremony was attended by Reverend Father Masis Shahinian, Reverend Father Artoun Khalaltian, the choir, the deacons of the church, and a group of believers. It is worth noting that during the Liturgy offered by the church’s pastor, Reverend Father Hagopos Isahagian, His Eminence the Bishop blessed the church’s new liturgical objects.
