On January 28, 2025, under the auspices of His Grace Bishop Oshagan Gulgulian, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Iraq, and under the supervision of the Central Administrative Committee, elections for a new administrativesubcommittee were held in Zakho. More than 350 people from the sect participated in the elections. Five people were elected to serve the Armenian Church and members of the community in Zakho. In order to ensure the successful conduct of the electoral process, a committee was appointed consisting of the state representative in the Kurdistan region and the heads of the administrative subcommittees in Erbil and Dohuk. Concluding the elections, His Grace blessed the members of the new administrative subcommittee, wishing them fruitful work in the service of their church. Reverend Father Sebouh Baghdasarian; the Chairman of the Central Administrative Committee and some of its members; as well as the chairmen and some members of the administrative subcommittees in Erbil, Dohuk, Havresk and Avzrouk attended the elections.
